The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Albino Esdras sped through SC Pfullendorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan. Kıvanç Yücesan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hechter Avila in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Rodríguez in the 13th minute of play forced Seat Leon CF's goalkeeper Denis Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argyris Zagorakis took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Gorri. Denis Gorri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Argyris Zagorakis scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Gorri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Kong Guo Chong got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes, Albino Esdras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seat Leon CF and the SC Pfullendorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Seat Leon CF got a freekick which was hit by Albino Esdras. In the 42nd minute Miguel Rodríguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Gorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Zagorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Gorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Zagorakis in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 47th minute of play forced Seat Leon CF's goalkeeper Denis Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argyris Zagorakis made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Seat Leon CF's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Rodríguez came free, but Denis Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Rodríguez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Gorri. That made the score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Huang Sheng replaced Karel Van Den Abeele. SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 was substituted for Argyris Zagorakis. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hechter Avila in the 71st minute of play. Denis Gorri was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Miguel Rodríguez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Rodríguez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Seat Leon CF's Cristofer Griego was substituted for Adalberto Guijarro. In the 78th minute, Isidor Solano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Şiman in the 83rd minute of play.
