An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Iemberge in the 41st minute of play forced Inter Porteño's goalkeeper Peyo Menendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Oscar Mulero's goal looked a bit too open when 宋光威 came free, but Evstati Shushev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Inter Porteño booed when Oscar Mulero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charly Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Mulero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
