Iron Maiden FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Günalp Talip in the 15th minute. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 34th minute of play. Arın Biçim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Albano Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazarópi Barros having to interfere. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los once leones Ourense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Günalp Talip was slow to take the kick. During this time Iron Maiden FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Günalp Talip got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Albano Unzueta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mazarópi Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Los once leones Ourense were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arın Biçim to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Dabi Vila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los once leones Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Dabi Vila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazarópi Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los once leones Ourense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Günalp Talip was slow to take the kick. During this time Iron Maiden FC's players had a chance to rest. Dave Murray made a great header on Iron Maiden FC's corner, it was just that Los once leones Ourense's Albano Unzueta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 58th minute, Arın Biçim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Unzueta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Murray in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Iron Maiden FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dave Murray hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Los once leones Ourense defense, Günalp Talip kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Unzueta. The Los once leones Ourense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Unzueta should have stopped the shot. Iron Maiden FC's Ekialde Abajas was substituted for Günalp Talip. After 72 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Merino. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los once leones Ourense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arın Biçim was slow to take the kick. During this time Iron Maiden FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Cacheres in the 76th minute of play forced Iron Maiden FC's goalkeeper Mazarópi Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dennis Stratton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Iron Maiden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Stratton couldn't finish the play. Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Iron Maiden FC from getting a goal against them. Leandro Merino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Dennis Stratton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
