The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Guardia's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Peio came free, but Sandro Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Quentin Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Hidalgo in the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Kolçak came free, but Zarando Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Guardia got a corner. Atlético Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino March ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Justino March got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zarando Lastras quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zarando Lastras made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Francisco Ruiz sent off a good shot on target. Guardia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino March in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Isi Courtois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Ruiz got free with Zarando Lastras in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Justino March shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökçek Kolçak struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Zarando Lastras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardia. In the 45th minute, Francisco Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zarando Lastras. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Ruiz was the one to do the kick off. Justino March recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Pena made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Quentin Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. Zarando Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçek Kolçak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sandro Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quentin Gonzalez in the 57th minute. Sandro Pena made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Quentin Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Guardia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Justino March hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçek Kolçak in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Lastras saved Atlético Maravilla from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Atlético Maravilla's Dionisio Hidalgo in the 64th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sandro Pena was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Guardia through an amazing save. Zarando Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dionisio Hidalgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Pena having to interfere. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Kolçak in the 75th minute of play. Atlético Maravilla's Zarando Lastras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökçek Kolçak in the 76th minute of play. Francisco Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zarando Lastras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Gonzalez in the 79th minute of the match. Quentin Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Pena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quentin Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Kolçak in the 85th minute of play.
