Adulfo Alcantara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hossam Nadolski made a huge save. With a little luck, Souston C.F's Hossam Nadolski got control of the ball when Ola Lagerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Souston C.F's Fabinho de Medeiros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabinho de Medeiros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Souston C.F protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabinho de Medeiros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Souston C.F! Hossam Nadolski made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ola Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Clemencin Justo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bahiano Camarasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Souston C.F. 26 minutes into the match, Souston C.F's goalkeeper Hossam Nadolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Lagerberg. Triana Rep. Ind.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristofer Rivera in the 28th minute. Abad Mezquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahiano Camarasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Elvio Olmos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hossam Nadolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adulfo Alcantara in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Souston C.F's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristofer Rivera was slow to take the kick. During this time Triana Rep. Ind.'s players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Triana Rep. Ind. booed when Souston C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abad Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Lagerberg to make the kick off. Hossam Nadolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Hossam Nadolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lagerberg in the 64th minute of the match. Ola Lagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Abad Mezquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemencin Justo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bahiano Camarasa made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Souston C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Adulfo Alcantara came free, but Hossam Nadolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hossam Nadolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Hossam Nadolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaro Casas in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ola Lagerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hossam Nadolski. Souston C.F's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Lagerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Clemencin Justo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Souston C.F players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Triana Rep. Ind..
