Spectators: 8581 (Terracing: 6436, Seating: 1974, VIP seats: 171) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Geeraerts in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Béla Kaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Txerran in the 7th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Txerran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Generoso Beloki made a huge save. In the 14th minute Lucas Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Béla Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Diaz came free, but Generoso Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Diaz who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki got control of the ball when Constantino Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Generoso Beloki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Bulă's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vodka Stars 1949's zone, Gigel Bulă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Beloki came out of the goal and Gigel Bulă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Béla Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Alonso in the 37th minute of play. Constantino Txerran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Beloki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Sümer İmam hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso in action when he in the 46th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Bulă to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Txerran in the 53rd minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, LauraySonia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Montaña came free, but Béla Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Béla Kaiser made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Erik Véber sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Allen De Santos hit a great ball. Vodka Stars 1949's Martin Batalla was substituted for Erik Véber. Vodka Stars 1949's Nevada Lopez de Toro was substituted for Casado Castan. LauraySonia's Eriberto Macia was substituted for Karel-Jan Smeulders. The audience was convinced that Constantino Txerran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Beloki was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute LauraySonia were awarded a corner. Timoteo Abalos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Abalos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Generoso Beloki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Geeraerts in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Béla Kaiser saved LauraySonia from getting behind. Béla Kaiser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Batalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Béla Kaiser managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vodka Stars 1949's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
