In the 7th minute Henric Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodney Marines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Arenas in the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiko Ferrer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mansour Buffon. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Juventus FC got a corner. Celtistas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabino Marrero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Juventus FC's Sabino Marrero to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodney Marines despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodney Marines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Marrero in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zadornin Montiel hit a great ball. Rodney Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Arenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Rolando Arenas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Arenas couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes of play, Juventus FC's Sabino Marrero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodney Marines was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Celtistas's Rodney Marines got control of the ball when Rolando Arenas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Celtistas's Nabucodonosor Campomanes in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Celtistas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kiko Ferrer hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Juventus FC defense, Lorencio Abasalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansour Buffon. The Juventus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansour Buffon should have stopped the shot. Mansour Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Ortega in the 81st minute of play. If Lorencio Abasalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Raúl Labarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtistas's Rodney Marines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Juventus FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Juventus FC's Raúl Labarra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Celtistas fully deserved thier win.
