Rodney Marines made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Coronel Montaña sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Xabat Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Xabat Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eufemio Valverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepito Barral was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, LIVERPOOL's Eufemio Valverde got control of the ball when Nabucodonosor Campomanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodney Marines came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL's Pepito Barral. But to his dismay, Pepito Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eufemio Valverde came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtistas's Nabucodonosor Campomanes. But to his dismay, Nabucodonosor Campomanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 61 minutes into the game, LIVERPOOL's Pepito Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodney Marines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Celtistas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bozkurt Akşit was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVERPOOL's players had a chance to rest. Bozkurt Akşit made a great header on LIVERPOOL's corner, it was just that Celtistas's Rodney Marines managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th minute, Celtistas's Nabucodonosor Campomanes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. 72 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL's Pepito Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodney Marines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Pepito Barral made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Celtistas's Rodney Marines tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Celtistas booed when LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bozkurt Akşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pepito Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bozkurt Akşit struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rodney Marines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIVERPOOL. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pepito Barral in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodney Marines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepito Barral in the 87th minute of play forced Celtistas's goalkeeper Rodney Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pepito Barral notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Celtistas's Rodney Marines. Rodney Marines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
