But to his dismay, Francesc Balmaseda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Miguel Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Universitario de deportes were furious when Hildeberto Brás was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Universitario de deportes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Lucas Rallo had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabri Gutierrez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 15th minute, Auriolam II C.F.'s Miguel Godoy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 18th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Rallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesc Balmaseda in the 19th minute of the match. Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 21st minute of play. Francesc Balmaseda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lucas Rallo made a huge save. Lucas Rallo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Francesc Balmaseda sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Tor Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Saboya made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Universitario de deportes got a freekick which was hit by Tor Viklund. Francesc Balmaseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Universitario de deportes's goal looked a bit too open when Francesc Balmaseda came free, but Lucas Rallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miguel Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Rallo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Universitario de deportes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabri Gutierrez was slow to take the kick. During this time Auriolam II C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. Gabri Gutierrez made a great header on Auriolam II C.F.'s corner, it was just that Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo managed to reach the ball for a save. Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Pagomari in the 75th minute of play. When Dinei Messias fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Auriolam II C.F.'s protests and gave Dinei Messias a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Universitario de deportes defense, Francesc Balmaseda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Rallo. The Universitario de deportes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Rallo should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes of play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Jesús Perera made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Rallo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Perera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesús Perera in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Rallo saved Universitario de deportes from getting behind. In the 97th minute of the match Auriolam II C.F. got a corner. Universitario de deportes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabri Gutierrez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Francesc Balmaseda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo did a great save. Auriolam II C.F. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
