Uxamancia FC's Bizen Incera got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Doroteo Viqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Macías. Plaza Babys CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doroteo Viqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Doroteo Viqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Macías was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bizen Incera got free with Abelardo Macías in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Aparicio Ladra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ioseba Acedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Abelardo Macías was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Urbasa Mayor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Urbasa Mayor really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doroteo Viqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joseba Sacristán fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plaza Babys CF's protests and gave Joseba Sacristán a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uxamancia FC booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseba Sacristán didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Kryspin Gmoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uxamancia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Gmoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Macías breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Plaza Babys CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
