After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Plaza Babys CF! In the 22nd minute Yasin Saleh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Kuan Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Sugoi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Babys CF's zone, Gwidon Burdzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Macías came out of the goal and Gwidon Burdzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Proença in the 26th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CF Fortuna were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Plaza Babys CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malcolm Castledine took the corner. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 康伟斐 in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Proença in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Macías saved Plaza Babys CF from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Yasin Saleh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaza Babys CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasin Saleh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 minutes CF Fortuna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aļģis Engers who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute, Gwidon Burdzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Yasin Saleh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Babys CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasin Saleh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Kuan Peng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, CF Fortuna's Liu Kuan Peng got control of the ball when Aparicio Ladra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, CF Fortuna's goalkeeper Liu Kuan Peng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aparicio Ladra. The Plaza Babys CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CF Fortuna were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Yasin Saleh made the kick off in the second half. If Yasin Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when CF Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, 康伟斐 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Aristides Sugoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abelardo Macías. The goal made the score 0-2. CF Fortuna's Liu Kuan Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aļģis Engers in the 66th minute of play. Liu Kuan Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasin Saleh, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Aparicio Ladra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Kuan Peng was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of CF Fortuna booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Bo Kristiansson replaced Aparicio Ladra. Plaza Babys CF's Joseba Sacristán was substituted for Zahar Garzon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aļģis Engers in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liu Kuan Peng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aļģis Engers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Liu Kuan Peng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Proença in the 78th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Erasmo Proença fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when 康伟斐 got free with Abelardo Macías in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garikoitz Sierra hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. CF Fortuna's Liu Kuan Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 91st minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liu Kuan Peng was left in no man's land by his defense there! The CF Fortuna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CF Fortuna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
