Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Valerón to make the kick off. In the 64thth minute of the game Radomir Narbut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but T h e r i o n's Xalvador Uria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Ortiz got free with Tomás Amorebieta in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes FC Les Corts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthon Arenius who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Unai Novo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 68th minute. When Anthon Arenius came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the T h e r i o n fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Arenius couldn't finish the play. Xalvador Uria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Valerón's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When T h e r i o n's Anthon Arenius in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tomás Amorebieta guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tobias Ribas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Amorebieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Tomás Amorebieta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 87 minutes into the match, T h e r i o n's Karl Eklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Amorebieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xalvador Uria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Narbut in the 91st minute of play. Xalvador Uria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Valerón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Les Corts's Tomás Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Arenius in the 94th minute of play. The FC Les Corts supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching T h e r i o n's performance. The match ended with a win for T h e r i o n.
