Xalvador Uria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucila Beloki's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucila Beloki in the 9th minute of play forced T h e r i o n's goalkeeper Xalvador Uria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucila Beloki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthon Arenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Albi Campoamor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Futbolin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T h e r i o n the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Futbolin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Albi Campoamor had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Anthon Arenius's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 27 played minutes Futbolin got a freekick which was hit by Taurino Muelas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Arenius in the 28th minute of play forced Futbolin's goalkeeper Albi Campoamor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chayo Ramis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Uria having to interfere. Korneliusz Bubczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Rodolfo Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, T h e r i o n's goal looked a bit too open when Lucila Beloki came free, but Xalvador Uria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Chayo Ramis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but T h e r i o n's Xalvador Uria did a great save. One of Futbolin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of T h e r i o n:s goal. Futbolin:s Albi Campoamor showed great skill when he stopped Anthon Arenius:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Lucila Beloki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xalvador Uria was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Futbolin's Albi Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Mayor in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Tobias Ribas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T h e r i o n fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Ribas to strike the kick off in the second half. Chayo Ramis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Futbolin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rodolfo Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. T h e r i o n's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albi Campoamor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucila Beloki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Xalvador Uria made a huge save. Xalvador Uria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chayo Ramis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Albi Campoamor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Arenius in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucila Beloki got free with Xalvador Uria in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
