Tuste Villanueva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Moi Samaniego got a free kick in the 26th minute. Humberto Figueres shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but Saturnin Darroja was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Humberto Figueres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tuste Villanueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnin Darroja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilen Villanueva in the 36th minute of the match. Saturnin Darroja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilen Villanueva in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paco Trujillo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuste Villanueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Lin Sen got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Figueres was the one to do the kick off. Sant Bartolomeu FC's Sigge Sigge was substituted for Gilen Villanueva. 64 minutes in the game, Edgard Dalmu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 84th minute, Paco Trujillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 87th match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Munio Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. When Sant Bartolomeu FC's Edgard Dalmu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Downchester City's goalie prevented a goal. Saturnin Darroja was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Downchester City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
