Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella was substituted for Hristo Stoichkov. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Palacios to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Fontanella in the 55th minute of play forced Delinquentes Futbol Club's goalkeeper Raúl Laredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Eloi Fontanella notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Delinquentes Futbol Club's Raúl Laredo. Raúl Laredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Delinquentes Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Orlondo Aguado came free, but Raúl Laredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delinquentes Futbol Club's Rolando Velasco was substituted for Hernán Palacios. Delinquentes Futbol Club made a substitution. Bela Ruiz replaced Juan Mata. Raúl Laredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Fontanella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raúl Laredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 93rd minute of play. Jesus Sayveon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Velasco went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Athletico Picapedrense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
