The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Aarsbo in the 6th minute of play forced Fynslund SIK's goalkeeper Mikkel Holmgreen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmi Schoustrup struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Mikkel Holmgreen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Favsing. After a rather tough play, Fynslund SIK's Lucas Hilleman got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Ludwig Aarsbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Torsten Kreve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Fynslund SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ludwig Aarsbo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 17 minutes, Thue Bjergelund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Favsing and the Fynslund SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Børge Meinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Duedam, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jimmi Schoustrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mikkel Holmgreen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ludwig Aarsbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Duedam in the 34th minute of play forced Favsing's goalkeeper Børge Meinhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmi Schoustrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mikkel Holmgreen made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Ludwig Aarsbo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikkel Holmgreen. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 44th minute, Ludwig Aarsbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludwig Aarsbo made a kick off. Jimmi Schoustrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 52 minutes, Ludwig Aarsbo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fynslund SIK's Mikkel Holmgreen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmi Schoustrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mikkel Holmgreen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Kreve kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jimmi Schoustrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mattias Duedam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Favsing walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
