In the 3rd minute, Paul Havsteen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofus Strait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Sultan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofus Strait in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Sultan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Per Eulers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumbsaas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Eulers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrik Splittorff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Sofus Strait notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lumbsaas FC's Denis Sultan. Denis Sultan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Lumbsaas FC defense, Sofus Strait kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Sultan. The Lumbsaas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Sultan should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Kaarup AC's Sofus Strait sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Sultan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sofus Strait received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Denis Sultan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sofus Strait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolaj Thortsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Nicolaj Thortsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Eulers in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulrik Splittorff saved Kaarup AC from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Thorbjørn Helmsøe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lumbsaas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaarup AC the free kick. Thorbjørn Helmsøe kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lumbsaas FC's Denis Sultan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lumbsaas FC from getting a goal against them. Denis Sultan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolaj Thortsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sofus Strait received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Denis Sultan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Kresten Handrick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulrik Splittorff skillfully saved the ball. Ulrik Splittorff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Oksfeldt in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Kaarup AC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Richard Bore hit a great ball. Ulrik Splittorff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Havsteen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kaarup AC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
