Jørg Kærn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Louie Bøjle fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hjorthede AC's protests and gave Louie Bøjle a yellow card for diving instead. Louie Bøjle kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Leithoff's goal looked a bit too open when Louie Bøjle came free, but Antoni Major reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Hattarstein in the 36th minute of play forced Leithoff's goalkeeper Antoni Major to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Flaskgaard hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sander Faurum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Strong in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hjorthede AC's zone, Fred Strong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sander Faurum came out of the goal and Fred Strong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Strong made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jørg Kærn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonatan Røgild might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sander Faurum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Røgild ran back to his position shaking his head. When Leithoff's Fred Strong in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Røgild in the 83rd minute of play forced Hjorthede AC's goalkeeper Sander Faurum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
