Vigerlöse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vigerlöse's René Gribsdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Randsø in the 17th minute of play. Ralph Randsø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. René Gribsdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Colliander in the 22nd minute of play. Kilstrup FV's Ralph Randsø got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kilstrup FV getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kai Holmskov hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kilstrup FV's goal looked a bit too open when Povl Velden came free, but Eg Reder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Vigerlöse's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Randsø came free, but René Gribsdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilstrup FV's goalkeeper Eg Reder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ejvind Vendelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eg Reder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Ralph Randsø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Randsø in the 46th minute of play forced Vigerlöse's goalkeeper René Gribsdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralph Randsø to make the kick off. The supporters of Kilstrup FV booed when Vigerlöse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orla Arevad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franck Colliander struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. René Gribsdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilstrup FV. Franck Colliander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. René Gribsdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. René Gribsdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Randsø in the 57th minute of play. If Franck Colliander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Vigerlöse's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Randsø came free, but René Gribsdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Rivold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eg Reder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilstrup FV's goalkeeper Eg Reder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored Vigerlöse's protests and gave Vagnar Rikshamar a yellow card for diving instead. Vagnar Rikshamar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vigerlöse's René Gribsdahl got control of the ball when Franck Colliander tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vigerlöse's zone, Franck Colliander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Gribsdahl came out of the goal and Franck Colliander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ralph Randsø came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Kilstrup FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Randsø couldn't finish the play. Diego Tibrand kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vigerlöse's René Gribsdahl got control of the ball when Franck Colliander tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ralph Randsø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Orla Arevad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kilstrup FV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
