One of Ikast SportsVerein:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fjelstrup:s goal. The referee ignored Ikast SportsVerein's protests and gave Teddi Löbner a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Mikael Gardshamar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjelstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Gardshamar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Gardshamar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bertel Nyvold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ikast SportsVerein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddi Löbner to maneuver through the defense. Josef Oksbroe might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertel Nyvold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Oksbroe ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the game, Nick Gilborg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bertel Nyvold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Ikast SportsVerein players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fjelstrup were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jozef Brastgaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Olman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aske Wejgelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aske Wejgelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edmund Olman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jozef Brastgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikast SportsVerein's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Brastgaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aske Wejgelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
