Josef Oksbroe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Gardshamar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jokum Nordenfelt in the 18th minute of play forced Fjelstrup's goalkeeper Aske Wejgelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 21 played minutes, when Gjedser:s Nicki Ubby calmly waited for Fjelstrup:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 23rd match minute, Gjedser was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wagn Barham to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, one of Fjelstrup:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikael Gardshamar took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Alava. Fabian Alava dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The Gjedser fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Gjedser's Arnfred Fyrstenborg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mikael Gardshamar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fabian Alava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Mikael Gardshamar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Alava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Alava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Gardshamar in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes Gjedser got a freekick which was hit by Ejnar Kirketerp. Josef Oksbroe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabian Alava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Josef Oksbroe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Alava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Gardshamar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gjedser getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Wagn Barham hit a great ball. Jokum Nordenfelt struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Aske Wejgelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gjedser. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Gilborg during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nick Gilborg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jokum Nordenfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aske Wejgelt having to interfere. Fritz Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Alava having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gjedser's zone, Mikael Gardshamar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Alava came out of the goal and Mikael Gardshamar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Einer Nanni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fjelstrup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gjedser the free kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fjelstrup! In the 97th minute, Mikael Gardshamar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjelstrup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fjelstrup players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gjedser.
