Ikast SportsVerein's Bertel Nyvold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ikast SportsVerein from getting a goal against them. Teddi Löbner's late challenge caught a Driblerne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teddi Löbner helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ikast SportsVerein's Teddi Löbner got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Henning Staxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ikast SportsVerein booed when Driblerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Frellsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Driblerne's Josef Frellsen in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ikast SportsVerein's goalie prevented a goal. Driblerne's Josef Frellsen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Calle Fregil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Driblerne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Fregil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Josef Frellsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertel Nyvold was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Frellsen to make the kick off. Jozef Brastgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Olman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Baunvig having to interfere. Josef Frellsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bertel Nyvold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Josef Frellsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Driblerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thomas Baunvig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Olman in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Ikast SportsVerein booed when Driblerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Boesgart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Frellsen struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bertel Nyvold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Driblerne. Calle Fregil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bertel Nyvold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Josef Frellsen notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ikast SportsVerein's Bertel Nyvold. Bertel Nyvold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Josef Frellsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertel Nyvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Fregil in the 80th minute of play. Josef Frellsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ikast SportsVerein defense, Josef Frellsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertel Nyvold. The Ikast SportsVerein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertel Nyvold should have stopped the shot. Bertel Nyvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Staxen in the 93rd minute of play. If Josef Frellsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Driblerne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
