Sonny Byrlund came out of the goal and Mogens Siezing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, David Vaagensø made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Byrlund. Lynge Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute Mogens Siezing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Byrlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mogens Siezing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigmund Borleif kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Dirk Frydenboe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lynge Warriors's Sonny Byrlund didn't even have to move. Sonny Byrlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Vaagensø in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Leo Gaardmand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guldager SIK's Jimi Rosert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Guldager SIK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mogens Siezing in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Byrlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Byrlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Vaagensø, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nikolas Glædesdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mogens Siezing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sonny Byrlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Guldager SIK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Lynge Warriors getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sigmund Borleif hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Lynge Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Falcon. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lynge Warriors's goalkeeper Sonny Byrlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mogens Siezing in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sonny Byrlund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Lynge Warriors getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Halvor Angol hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Guldager SIK's Mogens Siezing made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Byrlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mogens Siezings short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Sonny Byrlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Leo Gaardmand fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lynge Warriors's protests and gave Leo Gaardmand a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Leo Gaardmand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mogens Siezing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lynge Warriors's Sonny Byrlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Vaagensø in the 73rd minute of play. Sonny Byrlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Vaagensø, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes, Guldager SIK's Dirk Frydenboe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sonny Byrlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guldager SIK reached it. Mogens Siezing might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Byrlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mogens Siezing ran back to his position shaking his head. Lynge Warriors's Sonny Byrlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Vaagensø in the 82nd minute of play. Lynge Warriors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Vaagensø 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Nicolas Falcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Nikolas Glædesdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guldager SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lynge Warriors the free kick. Nikolas Glædesdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Mogens Siezing might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Byrlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mogens Siezing ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mogens Siezing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guldager SIK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
