Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Theodor Gurlev started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Villumstrup SIK's goalkeeper Jakob Liblik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tage Klemen. With a little luck, Villumstrup SIK's Jakob Liblik got control of the ball when Mathæus Hjortrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villumstrup SIK were furious when Ronny Stuck was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villumstrup SIK! The supporters of Skovballe booed when Villumstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krestian Nisted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tage Klemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tage Klemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Dolbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Skovballe's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Gurlev came free, but Sigmund Kjærby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathæus Hjortrup during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mathæus Hjortrup hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bengt Dolbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Villumstrup SIK's Bengt Dolbo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sigmund Kjærby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Skovballe booed when Villumstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Arel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tage Klemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakob Liblik was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Nikki Tireen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikki Tireen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Krestian Nisted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sigmund Kjærby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bengt Dolbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathæus Hjortrup got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Bengt Dolbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Gurlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sigmund Kjærby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bengt Dolbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villumstrup SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Dolbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigmund Kjærby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Bengt Dolbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villumstrup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Dolbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villumstrup SIK's Theodor Gurlev got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theodor Gurlev might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigmund Kjærby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theodor Gurlev ran back to his position shaking his head. Skovballe's Sigmund Kjærby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Gurlev in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Tage Klemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Skovballe getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tage Klemen hit a great ball. The long shot by Niclas Duholm in the 84th minute really tested Sigmund Kjærby's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 85th minute, Theodor Gurlev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigmund Kjærby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Skovballe's Sigmund Kjærby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Skovballe from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Villumstrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaspar Malz came free, but Jakob Liblik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Dolbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sigmund Kjærby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Sigmund Kjærby managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Villumstrup SIK's Theodor Gurlev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Skovballe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villumstrup SIK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
