Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Hulsig FV's Bjarne Barritze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hulsig FV's goalkeeper Robin Sønderskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Hanshøj in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigmund Kjærby saved Skovballe from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fillip Tolsager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hulsig FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Fillip Tolsager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigmund Kjærby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Hulsig FV's goalkeeper Robin Sønderskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaspar Malz. Kaspar Malz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Robin Sønderskov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skovballe. Robin Sønderskov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Kaspar Malz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sønderskov having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Hugo Hanshøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hulsig FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Hanshøj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Vaarby was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Skovballe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skovballe. Amadeus Cervin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bjarne Barritze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sigmund Kjærby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspar Malz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sønderskov having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaspar Malz was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fillip Tolsager during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Hulsig FV got a freekick which was hit by Fillip Tolsager. Sigmund Kjærby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjarne Barritze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Hanshøj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigmund Kjærby having to interfere. If Bjarne Barritze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skovballe's Sigmund Kjærby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarne Barritze in the 80th minute of play. Sigmund Kjærby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Hanshøj in the 81st minute. With his leg Sigmund Kjærby managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Hulsig FV's Hugo Hanshøj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skovballe's goalkeeper Sigmund Kjærby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hugo Hanshøj came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hulsig FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Hanshøj couldn't finish the play.
