The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Svedstrup's Ejnar Arrild sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Goldbech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Broballe SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Dixner came free, but Leo Goldbech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Thesling's late challenge caught a Svedstrup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kim Thesling helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Broballe SIK got a freekick which was hit by Kim Thesling. After 12 minutes of play Broballe SIK's Kim Thesling was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 13th match minute, Broballe SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Thesling to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Emil Snæbum sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Goldbech skillfully saved the ball. Olof Dixner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Goldbech having to interfere. Leo Goldbech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Dixner's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Leo Goldbech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejnar Arrild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Svedstrup booed when Broballe SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imran Bremme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Olof Dixner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svedstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Dixner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Goldbech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Broballe SIK's Leo Goldbech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejnar Arrild in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Ejnar Arrild managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svedstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ejnar Arrild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Olof Dixner came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Svedstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Dixner couldn't finish the play. Svedstrup's Ejnar Arrild got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Imran Bremme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Svedstrup's Emil Snæbum tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Olof Dixner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Svedstrup's zone, Richardo Bennett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Povl Benson came out of the goal and Richardo Bennett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ejnar Arrild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Broballe SIK's goalkeeper Leo Goldbech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Broballe SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Dixner came free, but Leo Goldbech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Goldbech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Dixner, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ejnar Arrild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Leo Goldbech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Broballe SIK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Imran Bremme hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Broballe SIK defense, Ejnar Arrild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Goldbech. The Broballe SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Goldbech should have stopped the shot. In the 76th match minute, Broballe SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Sneptrup to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Vagn Varmby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svedstrup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broballe SIK the free kick. Vagn Varmby kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Dixner in the 82nd minute of play forced Broballe SIK's goalkeeper Leo Goldbech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Richardo Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broballe SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richardo Bennett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richardo Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Povl Benson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Svedstrup got a freekick which was hit by Ingolf Møiniche. The Broballe SIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Svedstrup's performance. The match ended with a win for Svedstrup.
