Therkel Ammitzbo's late challenge caught a Sandal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Therkel Ammitzbo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stånum AC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Therkel Ammitzbo hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Sandal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Kvers to maneuver through the defense. Theodor Jebsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunner Boldrup read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Stånum AC's Marius Gernsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Harving in the 15th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandal's goalkeeper Gunner Boldrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Theodor Jebsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Kjeldgaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Gernsø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 40th minute, but Gunner Boldrup got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sandal hanging dry this time. Magnus Harving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marius Gernsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klement Kjeldgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Gernsø having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iver Gandil to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Sandal's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Jebsen came free, but Gunner Boldrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodor Jebsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Magnus Harving fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marius Gernsø, passed just outside the right post. Stånum AC's Theodor Jebsen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes, Julius Brügmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stånum AC and the Sandal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stånum AC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Julius Brügmann hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Klement Kjeldgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Stånum AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sandal's performance. The match ended with a win for Sandal.
