Zik Zak's John Menå shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicki Hørving but with some difficulty. After 20 played minutes AS Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Taus Vigbæk. After recieving a nice pass, Zik Zak's Stefan Dreisler tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Ted Heibak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Heibak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicki Hørving having to interfere. Oliver Thoning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gorm Duhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gorm Duhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zik Zak's zone, Gorm Duhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikki Barmose came out of the goal and Gorm Duhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikki Barmose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haakon Musted in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Thoning made a kick off. Oliver Thoning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicki Hørving having to interfere. Oliver Thoning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to AS Fortuna getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eskild Arland hit a great ball. When Oliver Thoning came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Zik Zak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Thoning couldn't finish the play. Ted Heibak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nicki Hørving tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haakon Musted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zik Zak's Mikki Barmose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haakon Musted in the 80th minute of play.
