Palle Strynø charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Palle Strynø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bengt Blenting kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Amin Corril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Sørby in the 29th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sillesthoved SIK reached it. Niels Relinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tue Belter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikkel Sørby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niels Relinder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tue Belter having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Bengt Blenting had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tue Belter. Sillesthoved SIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Blenting was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sillesthoved SIK's zone, Bengt Blenting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tue Belter came out of the goal and Bengt Blenting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niels Relinder struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Tue Belter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svenstrup. If Bengt Blenting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tue Belter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Blenting in the 73rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Bengt Blenting put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tue Belter. In the 78th minute, Niels Relinder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikkel Sørby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amin Corril. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Johnni Dyrehauge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sillesthoved SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnni Dyrehauge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amin Corril breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sillesthoved SIK's Tue Belter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Relinder in the 94th minute of play. Mikkel Sørby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amin Corril having to interfere. Svenstrup's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
