Valentin Lung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bartkær having to interfere. Filip Kauland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Kjeld Brejder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Lindenholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjeld Brejder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Lindenholt having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Kjeld Brejder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valby Vintage's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjeld Brejder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Lindenholt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Azzis FC defense, Steffen Feltholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Lindenholt. The Azzis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Lindenholt should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Kjeld Brejder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Lindenholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Lindenholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Kauland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azzis FC's goalkeeper Per Lindenholt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Valby Vintage were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Lung stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per Lindenholt made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Filip Kauland sent off a good shot on target. Kjeld Brejder was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Valby Vintage's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjeld Brejder in the 63rd minute of play forced Azzis FC's goalkeeper Per Lindenholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Kjeld Brejder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Lindenholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Valby Vintage's Kjeld Brejder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per Lindenholt. That made the score 0-4 after 76 minutes of play.
