Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hagbart Lippmann started the match with the kick off. With his leg Michael Harste managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Flensted FC's Timo Dittrich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Bjørndal's zone, Timo Dittrich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Harste came out of the goal and Timo Dittrich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Mikkel Settnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Micael Dahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Harste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hagbart Lippmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bjørndal getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rollo Øvlisen hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bjørndal defense, Hagbart Lippmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Harste. The Bjørndal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Harste should have stopped the shot. Hagbart Lippmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Michael Harste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Timo Dittrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikkel Settnes scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jari Gardar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timo Dittrich got free with Michael Harste in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timo Dittrich's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Harste firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svenning Broger to make the kick off. Jari Gardar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svenning Broger in the 56th minute of the match. Flensted FC's Jari Gardar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Flensted FC from getting a goal against them. If Svenning Broger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hagbart Lippmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Flensted FC defense, Mikkel Settnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jari Gardar. The Flensted FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jari Gardar should have stopped the shot. Jari Gardar had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Svenning Broger from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bjørndal's Mikkel Settnes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Micki Schlyter, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mikkel Settnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Bjørndal's Jari Gardar threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Svenning Broger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Harste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Dittrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Svenning Broger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjørndal's supporters rose to their feet, but Svenning Broger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jari Gardar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timo Dittrich struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Michael Harste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flensted FC.
