Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Ernborg in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Melbrandt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Højet's Kurt Melbrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunner Mensved in the 12th minute of play. Gunner Mensved took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Melbrandt. Kurt Melbrandt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th minute Timo Ernborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Melbrandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Timo Ernborg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Højet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Gellett to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Melbrandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Ernborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gunner Mensved received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kurt Melbrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Krestoffer Stout fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viinblad Eagles's protests and gave Krestoffer Stout a yellow card for diving instead. Krestoffer Stout hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Højet's Vagnar Birklykke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stephan Vallenhof came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Højet reached it. 36 minutes into the game, Timo Ernborg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kurt Melbrandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kurt Melbrandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krestoffer Stout in the 45th minute of the match. The Højet players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viinblad Eagles were winning 0-3.

If Timo Ernborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjeld Salomonsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Melbrandt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Ernborg's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Viinblad Eagles booed when Højet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Baldursson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunner Mensved could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Kurt Melbrandt made a huge save. Viinblad Eagles played a much better game than Højet and deserved their victory. The Højet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
