In the 7th minute Gert Gellett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Czech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Vincent Baldursson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maksymilian Czech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kurt Melbrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Thavlov in the 17th minute of play. Sebastian Thavlov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Fc Vinkel's goalkeeper Maksymilian Czech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eyvin Buskbjerg. In the 27th minute, Kjeld Salomonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Marcus Willers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kurt Melbrandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maksymilian Czech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Gellett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janus Vodstrup to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sebastian Thavlov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Vinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Thavlov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Melbrandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcus Willers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Thavlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Melbrandt having to interfere. Lukas Kirkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Melbrandt having to interfere. Sebastian Thavlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Melbrandt having to interfere. Kurt Melbrandt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Thavlov in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Vinkel's goal looked a bit too open when Janus Vodstrup came free, but Maksymilian Czech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fc Vinkel getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bernhard Vårdal hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Højet's Vagnar Birklykke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maksymilian Czech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Janus Vodstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Fc Vinkel got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Vårdal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janus Vodstrup in the 80th minute of play forced Fc Vinkel's goalkeeper Maksymilian Czech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sebastian Thavlov came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Fc Vinkel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Thavlov couldn't finish the play. Kurt Melbrandt was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Sebastian Thavlov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Thavlov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. If Sebastian Thavlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
