Lynge Gotholst took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sigfried Venskov. Sigfried Venskov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Bækbo defense, Lynge Gotholst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigfried Venskov. The Bækbo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigfried Venskov should have stopped the shot. Sigfried Venskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddi Kaye in the 16th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Skælskør B&I got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Stauner. Bækbo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stephan Wawrzonek in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Wictor Kongsrud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bækbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wictor Kongsrud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skælskør B&I's zone, Wictor Kongsrud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jari Moisen came out of the goal and Wictor Kongsrud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jari Moisen made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Olle Urlund sent off a good shot on target. Bækbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skælskør B&I the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Bækbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmer Kisshøi to maneuver through the defense. When Elmer Kisshøi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Elmer Kisshøi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Michael Grundell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigfried Venskov skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olle Urlund made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Olle Urlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bækbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Urlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jari Moisen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Skælskør B&I getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Stephen Refsvig hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Bækbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Kongsrud to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wictor Kongsrud during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bækbo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wictor Kongsrud hit a great ball. If Eddi Kaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Urlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jari Moisen having to interfere. Eddi Kaye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Lynge Gotholst recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sigfried Venskov. Lynge Gotholst showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Lynge Gotholst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Venskov having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bækbo! The goalkeeper, Sigfried Venskov, was totally fooled by Skælskør B&I's Michael Grundell, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Lynge Gotholst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eddi Kaye came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Skælskør B&I fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddi Kaye couldn't finish the play.
