The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torben Krejlund during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torben Krejlund hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Zabal Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasse Bakic made a kick off. If Adolf Raslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torben Krejlund hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terri Næraa in the 70th minute of play forced Knebel AC's goalkeeper Leonard Lensdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Ferenczy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klavs Skjerner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Hasse Bakic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klavs Skjerner having to interfere. Manfred Kalvig kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gjerup's Claes Tingleff got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 97th minute, Adolf Raslow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gjerup's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
