After 9 played minutes Grunninghoved got a freekick which was hit by Sivart Skenkelsø. Östermarke's Balthasar Rifberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Westh in the 16th minute of play. Bo O'Neal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Linus Westh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östermarke's Balthasar Rifberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hassan Elsvard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hassan Elsvard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kalle Thøyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, one of Grunninghoved:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grunninghoved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Linus Westh to make the kick off. Mickey Duedahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Grunninghoved's goal looked a bit too open when Asgar Karner came free, but Kalle Thøyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikki Brændskov during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Östermarke were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
