Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kresten Laderriere made the kick off which started today's match. Rico Letfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Finnedal having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Bertrand Ardest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edslev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holstebro FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Edslev got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Ardest. After a rather tough play, Holstebro FC's Linus Asfeldt got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Jarl Birlev scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Bjarke Winhard who was too lazy, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Holstebro FC's Kresten Laderriere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siegmund Finnedal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Ernst Holdrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjarke Winhard was a little too slow when Sigfrid Rudebeck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Siegmund Finnedal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kresten Laderriere, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th match minute, Edslev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Røjel to maneuver through the defense. Rico Letfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Finnedal having to interfere. Linus Asfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Bertrand Ardest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kresten Laderriere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Sigfrid Rudebeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Kresten Laderriere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Finnedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigfrid Rudebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjarke Winhard having to interfere. Bertrand Ardest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjarke Winhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrid Rudebeck in the 62nd minute of play. If Kresten Laderriere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Sagild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bjarke Winhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Holstebro FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kenn Plazuk hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ian Sagild had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bjarke Winhard. Holstebro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Sagild was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Holstebro FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kenn Plazuk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Edslev's Bertrand Ardest got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rico Letfeldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Siegmund Finnedal firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrid Rudebeck in the 89th minute of play forced Holstebro FC's goalkeeper Bjarke Winhard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Holstebro FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaare Bremholm. Bjarke Winhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Sagild in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Holstebro FC's zone, Sigfrid Rudebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjarke Winhard came out of the goal and Sigfrid Rudebeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
