The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurits Understrup during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, HDS Talent Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurits Understrup to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, HDS Talent Academy's Olle Lausch got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Klitbæk in the 11th minute of play forced HDS Talent Academy's goalkeeper Henry Stengaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Ture Klitbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hobro ik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ture Klitbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hobro ik's Ruben Kalaberg got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Ruben Kalaberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Ruben Kalaberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Stengaard. HDS Talent Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Kalaberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Ruben Kalaberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wiktor Styrbæk hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes HDS Talent Academy got a freekick which was hit by Terkel Asserby. In the 38th match minute, HDS Talent Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannibal Dørffer to maneuver through the defense. HDS Talent Academy's Henry Stengaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Klitbæk in the 39th minute of play. Hobro ik's Frede Rishagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurits Understrup in the 43rd minute of play. Ture Klitbæk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Stengaard having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Olle Lausch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Kalaberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Henry Stengaard made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurits Understrup was the one to do the kick off. With 53 minutes on the clock, Jonny Shockner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ruben Kalaberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, HDS Talent Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Nordskilde came free, but Henry Stengaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannibal Dørffer's late challenge caught a Hobro ik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannibal Dørffer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, HDS Talent Academy's Hannibal Dørffer got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, HDS Talent Academy's Amin Warmdahl got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 70 played minutes Hobro ik got a freekick which was hit by Moises Bibiano. HDS Talent Academy's Henry Stengaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Klitbæk in the 76th minute of play. When Ingvar Fager came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hobro ik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Fager couldn't finish the play. Olle Lausch hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Henry Stengaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Klitbæk in the 86th minute of the match. Olle Lausch got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to HDS Talent Academy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Olle Lausch hit a great ball. Edmund Himmer hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ture Klitbæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Hobro ik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
