Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melkior Bregnedal started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Liverpool City F.C.'s Peer Nilas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buster Støvlbæk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Oscar Greig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melkior Bregnedal in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Liverpool City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Melkior Bregnedal came free, but Oscar Greig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rødklit's Buster Støvlbæk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Rødklit from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes Rødklit got a freekick which was hit by Sofus Klenz. A collision led to Liverpool City F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bastian Aunfelt hit a great ball. If Melkior Bregnedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Tvilhøj hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Melkior Bregnedal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Oscar Greig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rødklit. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melkior Bregnedal in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Greig saved Liverpool City F.C. from getting behind. If Janus Kropp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janus Kropp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melkior Bregnedal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Greig saved Liverpool City F.C. from getting behind. In the 41stth minute of the game Povl Anfoss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rødklit's Buster Støvlbæk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Peer Nilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool City F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Peer Nilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buster Støvlbæk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buster Støvlbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Povl Anfoss, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Povl Anfoss was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rødklit's zone, Povl Anfoss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buster Støvlbæk came out of the goal and Povl Anfoss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Povl Anfoss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool City F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Povl Anfoss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Melkior Bregnedal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Greig was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st of the match, Melkior Bregnedal tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Oscar Greig got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melkior Bregnedal in the 65th minute of play forced Liverpool City F.C.'s goalkeeper Oscar Greig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peer Nilas struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Buster Støvlbæk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool City F.C.. When Melkior Bregnedal came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Rødklit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melkior Bregnedal couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Melkior Bregnedal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Greig, 1-1. Janus Kropp might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Greig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janus Kropp ran back to his position shaking his head. Liverpool City F.C.'s Peer Nilas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rødklit's Buster Støvlbæk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Povl Anfoss in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Povl Anfoss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buster Støvlbæk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Sofus Klenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Peer Nilas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
