Vårst FV's Theis Majnz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Theis Majnz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Lenny Sortkjær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Krestian Partsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Edelsparre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertrand Hedeholm was the one to do the kick off. Morten Edelsparre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krestian Partsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brøndum Boldklub's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Lamdrup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Brøndum Boldklub booed when Vårst FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krestian Partsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lenny Sortkjær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
