A collision led to Undertakers FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kurth Semmelhack hit a great ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Undertakers FC's goalkeeper Nicky Claudinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Undertakers FC's Søren Børlund got a free kick in the 6th minute. A hard shot 10 in the game by Viktor Hynne from a close distance when the talented Donald Vrieling managed to make a qualified save. Aarhus FC's players were relieved. Rollo Sabbagh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicky Claudinger having to make a save. The supporters of Undertakers FC booed when Aarhus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregers Vernlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Claudinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rollo Sabbagh in the 17th minute of play. Rollo Haustad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nicky Claudinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicky Claudinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rollo Sabbagh's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Nicky Claudinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Tryl went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rollo Sabbagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rollo Haustad in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Claudinger saved Undertakers FC from getting behind. Rollo Haustad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nicky Claudinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rollo Haustad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicky Claudinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rollo Haustad in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicky Claudinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes of play Undertakers FC's Søren Børlund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Undertakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Søren Børlund to maneuver through the defense. Rollo Haustad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Viggo Borbye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th play minute Rollo Haustad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicky Claudinger. 0-2. Viggo Borbye's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicky Claudinger firmly grabbed it by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Undertakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ib Berrild came free, but Nicky Claudinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Undertakers FC's Nicky Claudinger got control of the ball when Rollo Haustad tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Undertakers FC's goalkeeper Nicky Claudinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rollo Haustad. In the 70th minute, Ralph Botner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Rollo Haustad notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Undertakers FC's Nicky Claudinger. Nicky Claudinger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralph Hornekær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Vrieling having to interfere. Ralph Hornekær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Donald Vrieling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aarhus FC's Rollo Sabbagh got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rollo Haustad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicky Claudinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Nicky Claudinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Tryl in the 96th minute of the match. Aarhus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
