Roland Kristjansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Brenton in the 6th minute of play forced FC Michael Christensen's goalkeeper Andy Munkebjerg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Esben Magne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justin Brenton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Århus FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andy Munkebjerg made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Roland Kristjansen sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Århus FF's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Spønning came free, but Julius Lilleng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Kristjansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andy Munkebjerg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Kristjansen got free with Andy Munkebjerg in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Justin Brenton notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Michael Christensen's Andy Munkebjerg. Andy Munkebjerg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justin Brenton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Andy Munkebjerg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Munkebjerg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Brenton, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Justin Brenton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andy Munkebjerg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Kristjansen went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Thorsten Jernfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Århus FF's Roland Kristjansen got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, FC Michael Christensen's Asfred Stenkov got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kennet Holbeck struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Andy Munkebjerg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Århus FF. Justin Brenton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Munkebjerg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Michael Christensen's zone, Justin Brenton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Munkebjerg came out of the goal and Justin Brenton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Justin Brenton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Michael Christensen's Andy Munkebjerg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Brenton in the 74th minute of play. Roland Kristjansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Munkebjerg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Justin Brenton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Århus FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Brenton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Munkebjerg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andy Munkebjerg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Brenton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, FC Michael Christensen's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Kristjansen came free, but Andy Munkebjerg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Munkebjerg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Brenton in the 89th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Justin Brenton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andy Munkebjerg was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, FC Michael Christensen's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Brenton came free, but Andy Munkebjerg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
