The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Asmus Fastrøm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brøndby IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emmersbæk FV the free kick. Asmus Fastrøm hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Harald Nøraa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Sieberichs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 10th minute Nils Junne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfrid Prosper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Emmersbæk FV's Therkel Silfwander got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sigfrid Prosper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Junne in the 12th minute of play. Harald Nøraa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Brøndby IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Oscar Qvotrup hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Moritz Guldhager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfrid Prosper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harald Nøraa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Emmersbæk FV's Halfdan Gervang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Sieberichs. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Halfdan Gervang to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Severin Bukner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Sieberichs was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Brøndby IF's Daniel Sieberichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halfdan Gervang in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Moritz Guldhager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brøndby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moritz Guldhager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brøndby IF! The referee gave Emmersbæk FV a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicky Cornow, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brøndby IF's Daniel Sieberichs. 4-0. Halfdan Gervang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Sieberichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Bukner in the 76th minute of play. Terkil Faurschou kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Aslak Schertiger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emmersbæk FV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brøndby IF the free kick. After 91 played minutes Emmersbæk FV got a freekick which was hit by Aslak Schertiger. Halfdan Gervang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sieberichs having to interfere. Severin Bukner's late challenge caught a Brøndby IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severin Bukner helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Emmersbæk FV got a freekick which was hit by Severin Bukner. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Emmersbæk FV had played much better football throughout.
