Moritz Guldhager started the match with the kick off. Brøndby IF's Daniel Sieberichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Sindalsen in the 10th minute of play. Augustin Præst kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Brøndby IF's Moritz Guldhager got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gregorius Stanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brøndby IF's Daniel Sieberichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorius Stanton in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Brøndby IF got a freekick which was hit by Rainar Polichinel. Brøndby IF's Nils Junne got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rainer Grundvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Gregorius Stanton came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hierk SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorius Stanton couldn't finish the play. Daniel Sieberichs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Sindalsen in the 53rd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Olof Sindalsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hierk SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Sindalsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Sieberichs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gregorius Stanton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Asmus Fastrøm was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brøndby IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hierk SIK a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iver Gunckel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brøndby IF's Daniel Sieberichs. 0-2. After 78 minutes, Benjamin Lubeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brøndby IF and the Hierk SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brøndby IF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Benjamin Lubeck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brøndby IF's zone, Olof Sindalsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Sieberichs came out of the goal and Olof Sindalsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olof Sindalsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sieberichs having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gregorius Stanton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Sieberichs. That made the score 0-4 in the 86 minute of play. Olof Sindalsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Olof Sindalsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olof Sindalsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sieberichs having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Hierk SIK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brøndby IF.
