The supporters of Egelund booed when Emdrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svenåge Arnefast didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Svenåge Arnefast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennert Holmbæck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Piotr Fjelsing. Emdrup FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Piotr Fjelsing made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Frode Fahrendorff sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match, Pelle Kjelsholt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Piotr Fjelsing saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute Absalon Vøls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laust Degnegaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laust Degnegaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Lippert in the 37th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heino Lippert was the one to do the kick off. When Hasse Stollenwærk fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egelund's protests and gave Hasse Stollenwærk a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Egelund got a freekick which was hit by Hasse Stollenwærk. Piotr Fjelsing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Kjelsholt in the 58th minute of the match. Pelle Kjelsholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Fjelsing having to interfere. Frode Fahrendorff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emdrup FC's Piotr Fjelsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frode Fahrendorff in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Frode Fahrendorff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piotr Fjelsing was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 71 minutes, Muhammad Goede mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egelund and the Emdrup FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Muhammad Goede hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Sebastian Guldsteen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Hasse Stollenwærk put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Piotr Fjelsing. Laust Degnegaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
