Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when René Reynskor took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Smerup SIK booed when Ribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolaj Drotten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ribe defense, Lennert Hangstrup kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleks Nordon. The Ribe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleks Nordon should have stopped the shot. When Lennert Hangstrup came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Smerup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennert Hangstrup couldn't finish the play. Smerup SIK's Lennert Hangstrup got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Smerup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when René Reynskor came free, but Oluf Skovhøi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oluf Skovhøi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Danlev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennert Hangstrup who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Aleks Nordon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oluf Skovhøi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Danlev in the 32nd minute of the match. René Reynskor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smerup SIK's Oluf Skovhøi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Danlev in the 40th minute of play. Oluf Skovhøi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of René Reynskor's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 48thth minute of the game René Reynskor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smerup SIK's Oluf Skovhøi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Troels Avnsby made a kick off. René Reynskor struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oluf Skovhøi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribe. René Reynskor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute René Reynskor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oluf Skovhøi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Smerup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Filholm to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dani Danlev got free with Oluf Skovhøi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Smerup SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when René Reynskor 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Troels Avnsby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smerup SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Troels Avnsby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleks Nordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Smerup SIK booed when Ribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Gyldenskjold didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Troels Avnsby in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleks Nordon saved Ribe from getting behind. A collision led to Ribe getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Knud Veisterdale hit a great ball. When Troels Avnsby came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Smerup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Troels Avnsby couldn't finish the play. Ribe's Aleks Nordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennert Hangstrup in the 80th minute of play. If René Reynskor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Dani Danlev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dani Danlev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ribe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Smerup SIK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
