Lennert Hangstrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Lennert Hangstrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Troels Avnsby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Lennert Hangstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertold Strangholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, one of BK Mammut:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BK Mammut. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Smerup SIK. Eric Eystana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bertold Strangholt. 0-1. Troels Avnsby scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertold Strangholt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, one of BK Mammut:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BK Mammut. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Smerup SIK. Eric Eystana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bertold Strangholt. 0-3. Lennert Hangstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BK Mammut getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gotfred Kongstein hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Rufus Filholm made a precise shot to the right of Bertold Strangholt. BK Mammut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of BK Mammut booed when Smerup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Filholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudy Gyrmov kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Smerup SIK were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after BK Mammut's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Eystana took the corner. The corner led Smerup SIK's Eric Eystana to fire away a dangerous shot which Bertold Strangholt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Robert Kjellow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudy Gyrmov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oluf Skovhøi. Smerup SIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute Troels Avnsby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertold Strangholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Troels Avnsby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bertold Strangholt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertold Strangholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troels Avnsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lynge Marvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Mammut's Bertold Strangholt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save BK Mammut from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, Smerup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Filholm to maneuver through the defense. BK Mammut's Bertold Strangholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troels Avnsby in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BK Mammut's zone, Troels Avnsby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertold Strangholt came out of the goal and Troels Avnsby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Elmar Kronriis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smerup SIK and the BK Mammut players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lynge Marvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oluf Skovhøi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lynge Marvad in the 97th minute of play. The Smerup SIK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
