John Maints fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørn Binnerup having to interfere. Skjold's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Helge Jøkladal in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Skjold's corner Helge Jøkladal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bjørn Binnerup quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Janick Caprez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maade FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Janick Caprez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofus Shiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svenaage Stenild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bjørn Binnerup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svenaage Stenild in the 28th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janick Caprez made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Galle got free with Sofus Shiel in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janick Caprez in the 61st minute of play forced Skjold's goalkeeper Sofus Shiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Maints sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hektor Galle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Janick Caprez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, John Maints notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Maade FC's Bjørn Binnerup. Bjørn Binnerup was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Skjold's Sofus Shiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janick Caprez in the 85th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skjold fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maade FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
