Asmus Linroed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aske Fjordbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai Brizarr succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 22nd minute, FC Amager's Kai Brizarr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Esben Veigert's late challenge caught a FC Amager's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esben Veigert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Amager booed when HKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esben Veigert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Asbjørn Kausbølle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HKS and the FC Amager players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HKS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Asbjørn Kausbølle hit a great ball. Kai Brizarr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nigel Kaus made a huge save. Villy Korskjær scored 3-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nigel Kaus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kai Brizarr was the one to do the kick off. When Kai Brizarr came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Amager fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai Brizarr couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in HKS's zone, Kai Brizarr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigel Kaus came out of the goal and Kai Brizarr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Chris Nanver managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Amager's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nanver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Kaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Markus Haunstoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nigel Kaus came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Amager's Kai Brizarr. But to his dismay, Kai Brizarr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Taus Stenild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Kaus having to interfere. The supporters of HKS booed when FC Amager was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Bøgballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kai Brizarr, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nigel Kaus was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Villy Korskjær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Kaus having to interfere. If Kai Brizarr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Amager's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
