Sergei Ehlern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Classen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Classen in the 17th minute of play forced CHELSEA TALENTS's goalkeeper Sergei Ehlern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Tieldal came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the CHELSEA TALENTS fans jumped to their feet. Kåre Classen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergei Ehlern having to interfere. If Einer Sjelberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Classen in the 45th minute of play forced CHELSEA TALENTS's goalkeeper Sergei Ehlern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Augustin Skelton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
